Black Rhinoceros
Black Rhinoceros (Diceros Bicornis)
- Native to eastern and central areas of Africa
- Males can weigh up to 3000 lbs (1360 kg)
- Use their horns for defense and for breaking branches
- Are not actually black, but are grey and white
- Also called the Hook-lipped Rhinoceros
- Critically Endangered due to illegal hunting for their horns
