• Second largest land mammal with males weighing up to 7000 pounds (3175 kg)
• Spend most of their lives in water; come out to feed on grass
• Can run at speeds up to 20 mph (32 kph) for short distances
• Live in Sub-Saharan Africa (Zambia, Tanzania)
