- Breed of domestic cattle descended from zebu and sacred cow of India
- Adults stand approximately 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall
- Eat grasses and grains
- Used to pull plows and carts in India
- Have large hump made of fat and muscle
- Have large flap of skin under their neck called dewlap

Black Rhinoceros
Black Rhinoceros (Diceros Bicornis)
- Native to eastern and central areas of Africa
- Males can weigh up to 3000 lbs (1360 kg)
- Use their horns for defense and for breaking branches
- Are not actually black, but are grey and white
- Also called the Hook-lipped Rhinoceros
- Critically Endangered due to illegal hunting for their horns
American Bison
American Bison (bison bison)
- Largest land animal in North America with males weighing up to 2000 pounds (910 kg)
- Males up to 6.5 feet (2 meters) tall and 11.5 feet long (3.5 meters)
- Once roamed from Mexico up to Northwestern Canada in large herds
- Herbivores that graze on grasses, shrubs and sedges
- Live up to 20 years in wild
- Regurgitate their food and chew it as cud
